Project: 365 lounge places in Hanoi

I am living in Hanoi, a peaceful city of Vietnam. I have been here since I was 10 and I so love this city. It is 1000 year old this October so people are busy in preparing for the biggest event ever to celebrate this special birthday of the place they love.

Hanoi has some special things maybe no other one has: a big lake which is just 1-1.4m deep and there is a very big old, prissy turtle living, aged 500-600, as elders told; another lake which has a road named Youth Rd lying beside, the Road is full of young couples confiding every night, about 3 couples in 1m2, as youngsters said; There are a lifestyle which is nearly stay as it was in hundred years and another lifestyle brought by people from different areas of the country is co-existing, etc.

Do not ask me why I love this city, I can not explain it completely but just feel it is the right place for me. As Photography is one of my hobby and I always to to record something about this city, I decided to do one or some photography project 365 about it. I start with the idea of photograph 365 lounge places in Hanoi, they maybe a café, or a bar, a pub or any artificial places which make you feel relax when you are there, just forgetting everything tired behind and focusing only on the present. Somewhere which may surprise you about theirs harmony, and bringing you energy for the damn busy days coming.

So here you go

Thanks to friends who shared their time with me at these places and special thanks to Nam Anh, a.k.a nhóc, who encouraged me to do the project and also gave me the name of this blog. It is nice, meaningful and fun, isn't it?!!!

PS: The number 365 means 365 days in one year but I have to admit that I can only complete this project in maybe twice times longer than that. Short of time is issue which does not allow me to finish it sooner U__U
